Becky & Boau Feb 2008

Winter weddings can work out so wonderful... but you have to be ready for anything! I am so lucky to have been asked to do the photography for the Becky & Boau. Their patients with me as I made them brave the cold weather was wonderful and thanks to the wedding party for being so great too. More pictures to come but these are just a few of the wonderful memories! I am having trouble with blogger tonight and need to go to bed... but just keep checking for the wonderful winter pictures!

Two Wonderful Women

Just a couple of beautiful pictures I needed to share. The first one is my wonderful sister Danae on her wedding day and the other is my new friend Ashley. Thanks to them for making me feel great about my ever evolving photography career.

I love to take pictures of babies...and all the parts that make them whole!

Winter Fun

Our trip our skating and tobogganing during Christmas was so much fun, especially after we had all been so sick. I really do love winter.

Bring your frame to me before you order your pictures

This is a frame setting for Jamie and Dave. I have a few more tests for her to approve but I wanted to share some important points when setting up a frame. It is great to bring the frame in so I can see the actual opening size. They say 4x6 but the opening is 3.5 by 5.25 and the 8x10 in the center is actually a 7.25 by 9 and the 5x7 is actually a 6.25 by 4.25. It may not seem like a lot but is crops the picture a bit and as a photographer, cropping is very much a part of the art form and change the feel of a picture. Thanks to Jamie for being so patient - very, very, very patient.

Danae & Trent's Wedding

This was the most exciting and nerve racking wedding day! It was my sister's wedding and both my girls were in it. I was also in it... how did I do this? With a lot of help from my assistant and husband Ray. I set the shot up and he took the picture - if I am in it. If I am not in it, then I took it, in my heals and long dress... yes I am crazy, but it worked out great and my sister has well over 18oo pictures that capture her entire weekend. These are a few of the great pictures that we took that day. More to come later. Thanks to my wonderful sister for making me and my girls part of the wedding day!
