Tracy Sharman & Mike Acorn

What a great night this was! This is Tracy and Mike. They are engaged and I am very excited that they have asked me to be their photographer for their wedding next summer. They took me out to her Dad's cabin by the river - a photographer's dream! Log cabin, birds that you can feed from your hand and a wonderful river to walk out on. Thanks to them and Tracy's dad for the great glass of wine, the opportunity to feed the birds, trusting me to take your pictures, for a great night and thanks to the rain for stopping so we could capture all these great pictures.

Andrew & Becky Tait

This is my cousin Andrew and his new wife Becky or our new cousin. It feels like she has been part of our family forever. This wedding was very special because my daughters were in it as the flower girls. I was lucky as the oldest niece on one side of the family and oldest grandchild on the other, I was a flower girl 4 times... I still remember how wonderful that was and I was so excited to have my girls get to feel that same way. As you will see from the pictures, it was a beautiful wedding and I thank Andrew and Becky for including our girls. "A.J.", as he was called growing up, has become a wonder person and has an amazing personality - he reminds me of my Pa and I know that he is watching over Andrew, just as he is all of his kids, and is so proud of him. The bagpiper was a great addition to the wedding and the tables marked by grain elevators from around Saskatchewan brought me to tears! Love you "A.J" and Becky!

Joff & Ashley Kehler

I can not say enough, how beautiful this couple is inside and out! As I say to them, they are a photographer's dream. The picture above was taken at his grandma's land. When we took the engagment photos the rock could not be seen. I still remember how excited we all were to see the path right out into the river. The bestman was excited to take a swim! The only problem for Joff and Ashley is we have too many pictures to pick from! Well maybe that is not a problem and I hope to cause the same problem for all my weddings. Thanks Joff and Ashley for letting me be part of your day and setting me on my new path in life at the same time as you took yours!

The Gibb Family

I know I am doing what I love when I see family pictures like the Gibb's. What a good looking family and what a wonderful yard. I think we take family pictures for granted as life goes by so fast. It took a few months before my schedule could match their very busy lives. I thank Karen and her family for being patient with my holidays in August and for having me take their pictures. Karen was looking for a very nice portait of her family and I hope they like them as much as I did taking them. Here is just one of many great family pictures she will have to pick from.

The Bowman Family

I want to thank the Bowman family for inviting me to their home and for helping me remember my own childhood growing up on a farm with lots of cats and dogs. Their girls Sarah and Emma were wonderful and a few tears formed (this is a major hazard of my job... I get emotional easy!) when I thought about my sister and I playing on the swings, with our animals and running free in out yard. What a great family and a wonderful spirit... it comes through in the pictures. Thanks again Audra, Dale, Sarah and Emma for having me out to your wonderful home.

My First Blog

The picture above is my daughters Jaida and Anika. Jaida fell down and Anika was trying to help her - a very rare event! This is one of the first pictures from the wedding they were in for my cousin Andrew and Becky. What a great day and thanks to them for including my daughters in their special day... it was more than wonderful!
